ABOUT Minimum

Minimum was founded and run by Lowell Stevens (hi). I design, test, and ship every piece myself. Minimum started because most clothes today feel disposable. Thin fabric, lazy construction, nothing behind it. I wanted to make the kind of stuff I actually reach for: heavy, durable, and built with intention. ✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵ Everything here is cut and sew with custom patterns I developed. No blanks. Every item goes through multiple samples until the weight, fit, and stitching are right. If it doesn’t feel good enough to live in, it doesn’t get released. ✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵✵ A lot of my design sensibility comes from growing up around mid-2000s skate and mall goth culture: that feeling of finding something strange, off-limits, or a little occult in the best way.
